Freudenberg Announces Key Personnel Changes

Effective March 1, 2007, Stephan Tanda will leave Freudenberg Nonwovens to join Royal DSM N.V., where he will be elected to the management board. Effective the same date, George Cartwright, former executive director of BBA Group, will assume the role of interim chairman of the management board of Freudenberg Nonwovens until a permanent successor has been identified. The management board of Freudenberg Nonwovens will consist of George Cartwright, René Wollert and Georg Brasch. 

In another personnel change at Freudenberg, Walter Schwarz, president and CEO of Freudenberg Nonwovens North America, has also decided to leave Freudenberg after many years of successful service, effective next month. Mr. Schwarz’ responsibilities will be absorbed by Bill Casey in addition to his current responsibilities as global general manager Tuft Division.
