K-C Announces Diaper Plant Layoffs

April 13, 2006

Kimberly-Clark plans to cut 130 workers at its Lakeview diaper plant in Menasha, WI in June. The layoffs are part of a previously announced plan to close the facility by the end of 2007. Discussions are still underway to determine who will be let go, according to a recent news release from a WI-based news station.

In addition to June's job losses, the company is looking at two more waves of jobs cuts next summer and in the early fall of 2007.
