Home Delivery Incontinent Supplies Co. (HDIS), the leading direct-to-consumer supplier of bladder control products in the U.S., has acquired Mail Order Medical Supply, Inc. (MOMS). Financial terms were not disclosed. MOMS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shield Healthcare, is a major direct-to-consumer supplier of healthcare products, including aids for daily living and mobility products, as well as incontinence products.
The addition of the MOMS product line will make HDIS a broader one-stop-shop for consumer health and wellness products. “Joining the MOMS Catalog with HDIS allows us to achieve two of our primary strategic objectives: First, building our core incontinence business by bringing together key channel leaders, and, second, adding new product lines in senior healthcare,” said Bruce Grench, president of privately-held HDIS.
