Kusters Finds Buyer

August 4, 2005

Jagenberg, Krefeld, Germany, has acquired  a 100% stake in Eduard Kusters Maschinenfabrik as well as all of its new subsidiaries. The acquisition comes a few months after Kusters announced the search for a strong partner. The owner of Kampf, a Wiehl-Muhlen, Germany-based machinist in the plastic and aluminum foils markets, Jagenberg holds common ground with Kusters and mutual use of sales and production locations of the two companies is expected to be a key advantage.

By acquiring Kusters, Jagenberg is realizing its strategy of leading a group of compatible, mid-sized companies in the process machine and plant building areas.
