Dilo Makes Acquisition

August 1, 2005

In an effort to further improve its market position, needleloom manufacturer The Dilo Group has acquired a majority stake in Temafa, a specialist in processing natural fibers. In view of rising oil prices as well as other ecological concerns, Dilo expects the demand for nonwovens made from natural fibers, particularly in the automotives industry, to rise. In recent years, Dilo and Temafa has worked on several projects together. As a new member of the Dilo Group, Temafa will continue to be located in Bergish Gladbach, Germany under the direction of Norbert Morgner.
