Hot Melt Adhesives

November 30, -0001

Bostik, Inc. has introduced two new hot melt adhesives, specifically engineered to meet the needs of users requiring faster flow rates with excellent hot tack and more manageable open times. Bostik HM4289 and Bostik HM4289LV adhesives are affordable formulations optimized for use on high-volume applicators or in manual operations. The low viscosity of both HM4289 and HM4289LV adhesives provides a steady and rapid high flow rate for increased production. Their excellent hot tack properties allow them to adhere quickly while providing up to 40 seconds of open time to meet production requirements.

Both Bostik HM4289 and Bostik HM4289LV provide good heat resistance, moderate flexibility as well as excellent low/high temperature cycling properties. Bostik HM4289 and HM4289LV adhesives deliver the shear and peel strength needed for applications such as automotive interior trim assembly as well as headliner clip, wire harness and EA foam attachment where higher than normal heat resistance is required.

Bostik HM4289 and Bostik HM4289LV adhesives are ideal for a variety of applications including automotive headliners, filters and general assembly. Other applications include automotive air filter assembly, textile laminating and general product assembly.
