Barry-Wehmiller has appointed John Stroup to its board of directors. Mr. Stroup is an accomplished leadership professional in the manufacturing industry and an experienced practitioner of the lean principles of continuous improvement. The company expects his synergistic approach to business leadership to be instrumental in supporting and advancing its leadership and continuous improvement initiatives.  

Since 2005, Mr. Stroup has served as president and CEO of Belden, which manufactures specialty wire, cable and cord products for the electronics and electrical markets. Prior to joining Belden, he was group executive of the Motion Group at Danaher Corp., where he first served as vice president of business development, beginning in 2000. His professional experience also includes a position as vice president of marketing and general manager for Scientific Technologies, Inc.
