Fitesa will be at the World of Wipes (WOW) conference this week presenting its range of nonwoven substrates for the global wipes market. Fitesa first entered the wipes market through its acquisition of FiberDynamics in 2020. This site, located in High Point, NC, was expanded with the addition of a new meltblown line in 2021. According to executives the High Point facility has become the center of a business focused on the healthcare and household markets. Its most recent investment has allowed it to produce materials with high fluff pulp content to allow Fitesa to expand its U.S. wipes business into hygiene markets with more sustainable subtrates.

More recently, the company has finished construction on its first spunlace line in Jacareí, Brazil at a site acquired from Freudenberg Performance Materials in 2019. The new investment is allowing Fitesa to enter the South American wipes market, particularly the baby wipes market, offering an expanded product range for its customers in the region.
