World of Wipes Day 2 Kicks Off

Presentations focus on consumer perspectives

The second day of presentations during the first All-Virtual World of Wipes International Conference begins at 9 a.m. today.

During the first half of the day, presentations will focus on “Emerging Needs and Wants of a Changing Consumer Base.” Lectures include: 100 Most Influential Wet Wipe Brands (and Their Impact On Our Industry): Heidi Beatty, project manager consultant, Crown Abbey, LLC; Where, When and How: Snapshots of Consumers’ Use of Wipes: Brian Sansoni, senior vice president, Communications, Outreach & Membership, The American Cleaning Institute (ACI), and more.

At 2 p.m., the topic “Plastics: Changing Consumer Priorities & Perspectives in the Age of Covid-19," will be covered by Heidi Beatty of Crown Abbey; Richard Knowlson, principal, RPK Consulting; and Svetlana Uduslivaia, head of Home & Tech - Americas, Euromonitor.

At 3 p.m., Berk International, ITW Pro Brands and Lonza will be presenting their innovations for this year’s World of Wipes Innovation Award. The winner will be announced tomorrow at 4 p.m.

Virtual attendees will be able to connect in a number of ways today via Zoom during Engaging Conversations (10 a.m.-10:30 a.m.), Afternoon Tea (1 p.m.-2 p.m.), Exhibitor Booths (4 p.m.-5 p.m.) and Cocktail Hour (5 p.m.-6 p.m.)
