Seven cotton nonwovens substrates developed for diapers and wipes
At Hygienix, Cotton Incorporated will show results of its 100% Cotton Nonwoven Baby Care trials including cotton fibers supplied by TruCotton (Wildwood Technologies) and Barnhardt Technologies. Both suppliers will have samples of carded webs spunlaced into nonwovens substrates for baby care products availabe at the conference. These trials have resulted in the development of seven nonwoven grades including three premium baby wipes, two premium diaper backsheets and two diaper topsheets, all made with cotton
The use of cotton aligns with the baby care market's growing demand for natural, sustainable, soft and hypoallergenic products boasting proven performance and benefits.
