Absorbent pad can help avoid accidents

Sposies Dribbles, small absorbent pads that can be placed in child’s underwear to aid in toilet training, are one of the finalists of the Hygienix 2022 Innovation Award.

“A lot of parents feel pressure to have their kids fully trained before they go to school but the reality is there are a lot of challenges,” says Ryan Wright, CEO.

On average, it takes six months to fully toilet train a child and small accidents can be avoided with the Sposie pad, which operates similarly to a feminine hygiene pad, by sticking inside a pair of underwear. Each pad can hold half of the average two-year-old’s bladder capacity.

“It is not designed to replace diapers but to start to aid in toilet training,” Adam Strizzi says.
