Fluidnatek systems are capable of electrospinning to create fibers and electrospraying to create particles

Nanoscience Instruments has added the Fluidnatek line of equipment to its portfolio. Fluidnatek systems are capable of electrospinning to create fibers, and electrospraying to create particles, both through needle-based technology. These techniques can solve current filtration application challenges and introduce customers to unique solutions employing electrospun scaffolds and thin films.

According to a user’s formulation and processing parameters, the resulting product’s fiber diameter range can be controlled from the nano to microscale, permitting the tailoring of product properties to targeted filtration applications. Fluidnatek systems are capable of simultaneous electrospinning and electrospraying with dual polarity, allowing reversed polarity electrospinning/electrospraying. Additionally, the systems accomplish batch-to-batch reproducibility via tight control of user-specified temperature and relative humidity parameters.

Key features of the Fluidnatek for filtration applications include:
-- Roll-to-roll collector and multi-emitter to increase throughput
-- Encapsulate thermolabile bioactives
-- Single phase, coaxial and triaxial fiber production
-- Precise control of temperature and relative humidity
-- Metrology measurement capabilities
-- 3D structure post-scaffold processing

Nanoscience Instruments will be at booth #110 at Filtration 2018. Visitors can learn more about the Fluidnatek electrospinning/electrospraying systems, or to inquire about its analytical contracting services for evaluating materials produced to your specifications.
