Enkamat 3D nonwovens are used in industrial applications

At Filtration, Low & Bonar is showing off its Enkamat 3D nonwoven technology. This technology is widely applied in diverse industrial applications worldwide. It is the foundation of BonarPure's 3D structured media, a compression resistant, but flexible, 95% open structure that is easy to handle, lightweight and chemically resistant.

These multi-dimensional entangled strand products are made from polyamid, polyolefins or polyester. The open structure allows for free movement of air and liquid and the technology allows heat bonding, gluing, ultrasonic welding and stitching textiles, foils and paper to the matrix, creating some of the most innovative products in the market.

For the removal of H2S, NH3, and VOC's in industrial and municipal waste water treatment plants by e.g. bio trickling technology, Low & Bonar's 3D entangled polypropylene strand construction is an excellent solution for high surface area per volume, still ensuring optimal flow properties and low pressure drop.

Its 3D structure media are supplied in rolls that can be pre-cut to the desired width for volume production or cut to shape as required.
