Filtration Conference Starts Today

Experts will discuss the hottest topics in the growing filtration segment

The conference portion of the 2017 Filtration International Conference & Exposition opens today at Chicago’s Navy Pier. A range of experts in the nonwovens and filtration industries will discuss topics ranging from developments in air purification to measuring filter energy efficiency.

The day’s keynote luncheon at noon will start off with Philip Whitaker, president & CEO, AAF Flanders, who will talk about what’s driving recent M&A activity in the filter industry. Following will be a panel of experts discussing the new test standard ISO 16890 “Air Filters for General Ventilation.”

A one and a half day Filter Media Training Course with Christine Sun, Ph.D., Principal, Filtration Technologies International begins at 8:30 a.m. today, and will conclude tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The Filtration Exposition starts tomorrow at 10:30 a.m., with an industry reception taking place at 5 p.m. The exposition continues on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
