Filtration Conference Begins Today

A one-and-a-half day Filter Media Training Course starts at 8:30 a.m.

The 25th anniversary of the Filtration International Conference & Exposition will kick-off today with a welcome address at 10:30 a.m. by INDA president David Rousse.

At 1:30 p.m., Alfred Weber, president and CEO, Mann+Hummel International, will deliver the conference’s keynote on “Filtration Meets Digitalization.”

Other speakers at today’s conference, who will focus on the themes Pure Science, Pure Insight, Pure Standards, Pure Need and Pure Facts, include William Fisk, senior scientist, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory; Fred Geyer, CEO, American Melt Blown & Filtration; Kanwar Suri, VP Engineering and Michael Gao, director of Engineering, PTI Technologies, Inc.; Brad Kalil, director of Market Research and Statistics, INDA, and many more.

A Filter Media Training Course will be presented by Christine Sun, Ph.D., principal, Filtration Technologies International, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and continuing tomorrow, Nov. 9, from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The course will provide an overall understanding of nonwovens used in air and liquid filtration.
