It seems that Mobi-Air always brings big surprises to hygiene industry. One of these breakthrough technologies on display at CIDPEX was invented accidentally. The Mobi-Air Gen 3 process which replaces existing drum filter and bag-house technology. “You know Dyson vacuum cleaner right? The process is very interesting for industry because it runs without filter media. This is essentially a zero maintenance and repair process which is wonderful for industry, however there is a down-side. If you apply this into industrial applications, the energy consumption will be very high, about 1-2 times more than a drum filter and 2-3 time more than a bag-house. We have been able to harness the Tornado with in our new Gen3 technology.  We use only 1/3 of the energy of a cyclone and have found the holy grail of filtration.  A low energy solution requiring zero maintenance and repair.  It can be incorporated into a  hygienic product production line, we pre-launched one month ago at the Non-Woven Sustainability Sumit in Singapore. The machine will be presented in ANEX 2018 in Japan. It’s the biggest breakthrough technology for air filtration sector and our team and proud of our achievements to date.

 
The second break-through innovation is the energy free chiller that can be plugged to the above filtration modules. The process and hot air exiting the filter and chills air from 65C°to 25C°. When combined with closed-loop technology the process saves 80-85% of HVAC energy costs for hygiene product manufacturers located close to the equator and between 40-50% of HVAC energy costs for hygiene product manufacturers located in the norther and souther hemispheres.  The technology fully splits human air to machine air and eliminates the risk of employees breathing recycled factory air where fine micron SAP dust are present.” Martin Scaife, Chairman & CTO, Diaper Recycling Technology Pte.
