Bostik to Invest in Japan
Growth in Japan, Asia-Pacific is key for adhesives manufacturer
The new adhesives plant in Nara will include several production lines dedicated on the one hand to adhesives for the nonwoven market for hygiene applications, and on the other to the industrial adhesives markets. The new facility, to be located in Nara, Japan, should come onstream in early 2020. It will enable the Bostik-Nitta JV to support the strong growth of its customers in the Japanese hygiene market and to reinforce the production of some industrial adhesives product lines.
Bostik provided details of this investment to its key customers during its Global Summit held in Tokyo one day before ANEX. The event also featured speakers from global trade associations on the state of regional hygiene markets as well as presentations on Bostik's efforts in serving its customers in the disposable markets.
At ANEX, Bostik will present information on its Smart adhesive solutions for disposable hygiene markets. Its both will feature an interactive exhibit area where visitors can view core and odor solutions in the form of disposable hygiene product animations. Bostik's extensive line of adhesive products are ideal for new disposable hygiene products including industry leading technology like ZeroCreep and, a world’s first, Brilliance.
