ANEX to Open at Tokyo Big Sight Today

Three-day event will attract 30,000 visitors

 

This year’s largest nonwovens event, the Asian Nonwovens Exhibition (ANEX), will open today at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo, Japan. The show will be also be open  tomorrow and Friday. The event, which, along with IDEA in North America and INDEX in Europe, is a part of the three-year rotation of global nonwovens events. It is expected to feature 700 exhibitors which will attract 30,000 visitors over the course of the three days.

Exhibitors will include nonwovens producers, machinery and equipment suppliers and raw material manufacturers from across the globe. They will present the latest  and greatest innovative technologies which will define the next several years of nonwovens.

The last two ANEX events were held in Korea in 2015 and China in 2012. Like them, ANEX 2018 will attract senior level executives and key decision makers both from Asia and around the world.


In addition to the exhibition, ANEX will feature the Globan Nonwovens Summit (GNS), jointly organized by ANFA (Asia Nonwoven Fabrics Association), EDANA (European Disposables And Nonwovens Association) and INDA (Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry). Speakers at this event will give lectures on a range of global developments impacting every part of the nonwovens industry.


Meanwhile, the ANEX conference, which will run concurrently at Big Sight, will feature a range of speakers on topics including machinery and equipment, the environment, healthcare and automotives. Speakers represent top academic institutions as well as some of the most important companies in nonwovens.
