An apparatus for producing a stretchable sheet, comprising: two sets of conveyance belts which are separately arranged; elastic body winding means which winds a threadlike elastic body around the two sets of conveyance belts and orients the threadlike elastic body in a direction intersecting with a conveyance direction of a pair of continuous-length sheets; and integrating means which fixes the threadlike elastic body to the continuous-length sheets, wherein each set of the conveyance belts includes an upper belt and a lower belt respectively, each of the upper belt and the lower belt is an endless rotating belt including a proceeding portion which conveys the threadlike elastic body while contacting to the wound threadlike elastic body and a returning portion which moves in a direction opposite to the proceeding portion, the proceeding portion of the upper belt is inclined so that an upper edge is located closer than a lower edge to a center position between the two sets of the conveyance belts, and the proceeding portion of the lower belt is inclined so that a lower edge is located closer than an upper edge to the center position between the two sets of the conveyance belts.
