RKW Group has named Jelle Westerterp its new director sales nonwovens. Westerterp has been responsible for managing sales activities at the RKW sites Gronau and Halberstadt since August 2015. Both sites specialize in the development, production and sales of spunbonded and carded nonwovens.
In his new function as the director sales nonwovens, he will maintain and expand customer relations. After gaining a Master’s degree at the Technical University of Eindhoven, the chemical engineer started his career at Unilever and worked in Great Britain, France and the Netherlands. Before Jelle joined RKW, he was key account director for BOPP films at Treofan, Germany.
“I am looking forward to help drive RKW’s global growth,” says Westerterp. “We focus ourselves on our customers’ individual applications and ensure through our innovations that our products fulfill market needs in the best way possible.” He has been an active contributor to EDANA for several years and will represent RKW in the area of nonwovens.
