Hollingsworth & Vose has changed the name of its Evanite Fiber Corporation to Hollingsworth & Vose, effective immediately. The change is in name only; employees, operations and manufacturing will not be affected.
“This adjustment will not result in any modification to any of our finished products, production equipment or raw materials,” said Jim Vogt, director of global marketing, industrial specialties, Hollingsworth & Vose. “Evanite Fiber Corporation has been a part of the H&V family for such a long time now that the transition will be seamless. The intent is to simply have all the people in our company operating under the same company name.”
Evanite Fiber Corporation joined Hollingsworth & Vose Company in 1997. It manufactures highly specialized glass fibers used in battery separator materials for hybrid automobile batteries and in a variety of industrial batteries. These fibers are also used in high efficiency and ultra-high efficiency filter media utilized in electronic clean rooms and medical facilities.
