Natural Products Expo West was held March 9-13 at the Anaheim Convention Center. The sold out trade-only event hosted more than 3000 companies and 70,000 attendees in the natural products industry. This year a number of disposable products featuring natural and eco-friendly characteristics were showcased at the event.

Natracare Organic and Natural Feminine Care and Baby Care
Natracare manufactures and distributes feminine hygiene products made from organic cotton that’s completely chlorine free, plastic free and biodegradable. At Expo West, the company showcased its mother and baby care line of maternity pads, nursing pads and baby wipes, as well as its full range of organic and natural tampons and menstrual pads.
Seventh Generation Free & Clear Diapers
The Burlington, VT-based brand Seventh Generation, which has produced safe, plant-based products for over 25 years, showed off its line of Free & Clear baby diapers. The brand recently launched new printed designs on the diaper’s backsheet.
Pacifica Facial Wipes
Pacifica, a natural beauty brand that offers a full range of cosmetics, perfumes and skin care products, displayed its line of facial wipes: Super Detox Deep Purification Wipes, Enzymatic Exfoliating Wipes, Moisturize Energize Serum Wipes, Purify Coconut Cleansing Wipes and Essential Makeup Removing Wipes. The brand’s skin care and color is formulated without: animal testing, animal ingredients, FD&C color, phthalates, parabens, sulfates, propylene glycol, benzene, mineral oil, petroleum, peanut oil and triclosan.
The Honest Company Diapers and Wipes
Actress Jessica Alba’s natural products brand The Honest Company had its colorful and creative diapers and baby wipes on display at this year’s expo. The company recently launched five new spring prints in a Parisian theme featuring the Eiffel Tower, macarons, racecars, luggage and dogs.
Lunette CupWipes
Menstrual cups are a growing segment in the feminine hygiene market, and Lunette, a brand that makes reusable menstrual cups, is offering disposable wipes for sanitizing the menstrual cup when a woman doesn’t have a chance to rinse it with water. Lunette CupWipes are made from viscose, a biodegradable material that breaks down quickly, and they can be composted after use.
Blum Naturals Facial Cleansing Towelettes
Natural skincare products company Blum Naturals is offering a new line of daily cleansing and make up remover towelettes including wipes for combination/oily skin, dry/sensitive skin, normal skin, pro age and exfoliating. Blum’s products are infused with natural plant extracts, fruit sugars and nourishing antioxidants that easily remove waterproof makeup and dirt buildup leaving skin clean and smooth.
Organyc Feminine Care
Organyc, a full line of organic cotton feminine care products made by Italian manufacturer Corman, exhibited at this year’s expo. Organyc recently launched two products for new moms: First Days Maternity Pads and Nursing Pads. Corman claims to offer the first complete certified organic range of feminine care products.
Bamboobies EcoPure Premium Disposable Nursing Pads
Bamboobies, a maker of reusable and disposable nursing pads, as well as nursing bras and clothing, displayed its latest offerings at Expo West. The company’s line of disposable nursing pads is made with a unique bamboo viscose top layer that is soft on the skin and is naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial. The inner core is ultra-absorbent keeping moms dry and comfortable and is certified sustainable by Forest Stewardship Council. The unique milk-proof backing is more breathable than standard pads' plastic lining, keeping sensitive skin healthier.
Earth Kiss Bamboo Sheet Mask
Earth Kiss, a maker of mud and clay facial masks, has launched a line of 100% natural bamboo sheet masks infused with clay. The masks are energized with 85 plant micronutrients found in Himalayan Shilajit, a rare form of powerful mineralized organic matter.
Attitude Natural Pet Grooming Wipes
Attitude, a company that offers natural personal care and household products, had its Natural Grooming Wipes for pets on display. The 100% biodegradable wipes are strong, all natural and hypoallergenic for a pet’s sensitive skin. The company also markets eco-friendly baby diapers and 100% biodegradable baby wipes.
Bella B Baby Wipes
Natural body care brand Bella B’s baby wipes are thick and soft with a calming lavender scent. Wipes are made with organic aloe vera, chamomile, and Vitamin E to sooth and condition baby's skin. The wipes are hypoallergenic and free of parabens and alcohol. The California-based company also makes Nipple Nurture Soothing Breast Wipes that are ideal for use before and after breastfeeding to soothe, cleanse and refresh.
