Petsa was established in 2008 in Gaziantep, Turkey, when it began making polyester film. From 2009-2015, the company invested in films and single use food containers, both made from PET film, with about 11,000 tons of capacity.
In the third quarter of 2015, Petsa began making 100% polyester spunbond nonwovens under the Petsabond brand name, which are being shipped to the U.S. and around the world. Its initial investment is a 3.2 meter, 6000-ton line, which offers weights ranging from 15-180 gsm. Key markets include automotives, filtration, roofing and insulation, agriculture, geotextile, furniture and bedding.
The company expects to make another investment, likely a bicomponent PET/PP/PE line, in the future.
New to the market, Petsabond uses the latest machinery technology to achieve the best quality fabric in market.
