Stephen Patton was promoted to site director of Wacker Chemical Corporation’s facility in Adrian, MI, on March 31.
He began his Wacker career as a process train supervisor in May 2005 and has held positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as senior operations manager in 2021.
“I’m honored to take on this role. The Adrian site has an outstanding team dedicated, skilled, and passionate about operations. I’m excited to build on that strong foundation, foster greater collaboration, and drive more value for the company and our customers,” says Patton. “I look forward to the journey ahead and all we’ll accomplish as one team.”
Patton holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Master Certificate in Supply Chain Management & Operations from Michigan State University.
The Adrian, MI, site is Wacker's oldest U.S. site. It launched the Munich-based company into the Americas in 1969, beginning with the manufacturing of silicones.
