Abena AB, the maker of Bamboo Nature baby diapers and other healthcare-related products has achieved the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification PLUS (ISCC PLUS). The certificate ensures that customers can trust the products they purchase are produced responsibly, with a focus on environmental protection, social accountability and transparency. ISCC is a globally recognized standard that ensures a responsible production of biomass, biofuels, and other renewable raw materials. The certification guarantees full traceability of the raw materials.
For Avena's Swedish production facility, achieving the ISCC PLUS certification means that we can now incorporate certified film into our laminates, which are subsequently converted into bibs, washcloths, and protective sheets.
