Joe Fresh has launched absorbent underwear, a new addition to the brand's intimates lineup, which are available online and in stores. The quality tested and approved product is available in a pack of 2 for $29 and in sizes XS-3X.
To support the launch of the products, Joe Fresh, which is based in Toronto, CA, has partnered with Love You by Shoppers Drug Mart to help increase accessibilty to menstrual products. This includes the donation of 10,000 pairs of underwear from Joe Fresh and $100,000 to Moon Time Sisters from Shoppers Drug Mart. Moon Time Sisters is a collective that helps menstruators gain access to products in Indigenous communities across Canada.
"Accessibility and affordability are always of mind when we are creating new products for customers," says Lisa Steele, director of communications.
The absorbent underwear features four moisture absorbent layers to keep wearers comfortable against blood, sweat and urine and are made with moisture-wicking and anti-microbial fabrication for odor control and freshness. The product is machine washable and tested against chemicals, meaning they are safe to wear long term.
