Following a career spanning nearly 50 years in consumer goods and 24 years with Nice-Pak International (NPI), Michael Staton will be handing over leadership of NPI at the end of the year and retiring from the company in March 2021.
Staton joined NPI in July 1997 and over that time the company has grown from three production lines and 50 colleagues to 24 production lines and over 900 colleagues. NPI is now the largest manufacturer of pre-moistened wipes in Europe with an internationally recognized and respected customer portfolio operating through manufacturing sites in the U.K. and Germany.
Robert Woodall has been appointed managing director Nice-Pak International, and will succeed Staton on January 1, 2021.
Woodall has spent his entire career in the global consumer goods business. He has held leadership roles in both multi-national and start up companies working in marketing, sales and general management in the U.K., Europe and Asia-Pacific. He spent 13 years with the Kellogg Company working as the managing director of Greater China for five years and latterly as vice president and general manager of the Kellogg’s Snacks and Pringles business across Europe and the Middle East.
