Cameroonian trade minister Luc Maglior has lifted a ban on sale of six baby diaper brands including Pampers in the country. The country had initiated the ban in early February upon suspicions that they may contain harmful chemical substances. This warning was originally issued by the French Agency for Health Security and raised concerns amongh the population.
The reversal of the ban, which also included Bonfix, Dylan Baby, Taffy and Joy Baby diaper brands, came after the outcomes of at least two ad hoc committees, which evaluated the diapers under the authority of the National Drug Quality Control Laboratory.
