This year, Colquímica becomes 65 years old. For Colquímica, 2018 is a year of growth, a natural evolution for the company, based in Valongo, Portugal. Therefore, Colquímica has renamed itself Colquímica Adhesives.
Today, with a more international presence, rebranding arose from the need to renew the image of the brand, giving it a personality closer to the pillars of its DNA: proximity, innovation and agility.
Making these changes gave way for Colquímica Adhesives to be born, capable of reaffirming the quality, seriousness and professionalism to which its partners are accustomed. Moreover, its clients and stakeholders, but never neglecting people, that proximity that has been cultivated for so many years. The company is showcasing the new signature of the brand: "Creating Bonds."
Colquímica Adhesives also has a new brand architecture, with an enhanced global culture, segmented by production technologies and markets in which it operates.
The project is the responsibility of the marketing department of Colquímica Adhesives with the advice of a creative agency based in Porto.

João Pedro Koehler, Colquímica’s CEO, points out that, "this rebranding materialized at an important time in the company’s life. There are 65 years of activity, this is a long journey and we want to continue to respond quickly, efficiently and effectively to the needs of the various markets where we have a presence and this was the most appropriate way to do it."
According to Sofia Koehler, vice-president of the company, the main objective of all this work is to "reinforce the commitments made to foster lasting relationships with our business partners, create innovation, develop quality, promote sustainability and act with eagerness.
