A number of exhibitors at INDEX will make special, pre-planned presentations about their technology. Tuesday morning's lineup, scheduled for 10:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m., includes Ahlstrom's Rodney Komlenic, who will talk about Electroadsorptive Nonwoven Filter Media; Elmarco's Peter Popp, who will discuss Nano Age in Filtration—Transition to Higher Quality and Throughput Nanospider Technology; Fraunhofer and Julia Orlik will present Modeling and Simulation of Effective Properties of Textiles and Nonwovens and Sven Schutz of Palas will talk about New Innovations from Palas for HEPAand ULPAfilter testing.
The afternoon session, beginning at 12:30 p.m. will feature Christophe Morel-Fourrier, of Bostik, who will talk about Polyolefin Technology in Adhesives and Schulke & Mayr's Wolfgang Siegert will talk about preservative trends in wet wipes. Additionally, two presentations from Dow Chemical will highlight olefin elastomers for health and hygiene and address the softness needs for hygiene. Avery Dennison's Peter Johnson will present, "Skin & Adhesives: Optimizing the interface Between the temporaty Medical Device and the Patient; Paul Niedl of Starlinger will talkabout the economic and ecologic benefits of recycling nonwovens; Kraton Polymers' Martine DuPont will talk about how Kraton technologies can reduce or eliminate tackifying resins and Tissue Machinery Company will make a presentation on diaper packaging.
