Colbond will show its Colback line of roll goods which feature bicomponent filaments of PET and N6 carefully bonded to maximize air and water flow while providing pleatable reinforcement for filter media. Colback is a high-performance support material for woven and nonwoven filter media or activated carbon layers. Colback not only serves as a reinforcing carrier but may also be used as a pre-filter and spacer.
The company will also present Colbond’s Enka-Spacer 3-dimensional matrix.Enka-Spacer is manufactured from PA6, PET & PP in densities from 1mm to 25mm and can be used as a separation and support layer between various filter elements.
The company’s production facilities are based in Asheville, NC in the U.S., Emmen and Arnhem in the Netherlands, and Obernburg, Denmark. Regional sales offices are located all over the world. For product and application development, the company maintains a Development and Application Centre at the Arnhem head office and a Development Laboratory in Asheville.
