Loparex LLC plans to relocate its company headquarters from a Chicago suburb to Cary, NC, a move that will bring 60 new jobs to the Raleigh-Durham area. The manufacturer of polycoated and silicone-coated papers and films also will expand its manufacturing operation in Eden, NC, creating 68 new jobs there.
The firm plans to spend $18.9 million on the moves – including about $2 million in Wake County. The company will receive up to $2.35 million in Job Development Investment Grant incentives from the state for the relocation and expansion, the governor’s office said in a written statement.
