INDA and AATCC teamed up to present a full day of presentations on adding value and enhancing surfaces in conjunction with the International Nonwovens Technical Conference (INTC). The day-long session, held Monday, September 8, focused on innovations in surface modifying systems, novel inks and chemistries that add value to nonwoven fabrics. Moderated by Peter Hauser of North Carolina State University and Robert Funk of Kimberly-Clark, the program included speakers from NSCU, Anovotek, Daikin America, University of Georgia, Ciba and Polytex who discussed such topics as antimicrobials, green chemistry, fluorochemicals and the upcoming REACH regulations.
