Messe Frankfurt, Inc. has promoted Daniel McKinnon to the position of executive vice president, with management and oversight responsibility for the company’s trade shows and business development efforts in North America. Mr. McKinnon has served for ten years with the Atlanta-based U.S. subsidiary of the international trade show and events organization. Based in Frankfurt, Germany, Messe Frankfurt is one of the largest global event organizers.
In his new position, Mr. McKinnon oversees the teams responsible for nine trade shows in Mexico, the U.S. and Canada. In addition to playing a key role in the management of these events and the development of new business, he will also sit on the board of directors of Messe Frankfurt, Inc.
“Mr. McKinnon not only brings experience with our international shows, but he has been a significant contributor to Messe Frankfurt USA’s growth in the number of shows and our profitability,” said Messe Frankfurt USA president David Audrain, who announced the promotion.
