Valco Melton has more than 70 years of experience in designing and manufacturing gluing and quality inspection technologies for a wide range of industries including paper converting, nonwovens, tissue, textiles, coating, and laminating, among others.

Our specialized Nonwovens team is fully committed to the research and development, design, testing, manufacturing, installation, and post-sales support of hot melt equipment for application processes such as slot coat, spray, elastics and strand coat, and perfume dispensing. We proudly support manufacturing processes for products like diapers, feminine hygiene, and other disposable sanitary items.

As a manufacturer of adhesive dispensing equipment, we take pride in providing a complete solution, from adhesive melting and dosing to application and quality inspection. Our SmartMelt Series is a fully customizable melt unit that permits an accurate control of the glue applied during machine ramp up and down. Its smart architecture offers the possibility for easy upgrades through a connecting communication cable. Each tank is capable to expand its capabilities to incorporate additional heating zones, flow control, pumping stations, and more.

Our flagship electric gluing applicator, vmGenesis, is the result of continuous innovation and R&D. With a lifespan exceeding 2 billion cycles, this new generation of applicators work longer than any other industry alternatives, handling the high viscosity adhesives typically present in the hygiene disposable product manufacturing processes.

We also offer a wide range of nozzle solutions designed for the specific needs of disposable hygiene product manufacturing. Our most recent development is the Lambda Series. These nozzles guarantee precise adhesive deposition for high-speed nonwoven applications on elasticized legs, leg cuffs, and waistbands on baby diapers, training pants, and adult incontinence products. Key features include improved cut-off performance, reduced adhesive and air consumption, and enhanced adhesive distribution across the strands.

Our range of hot melt dispensing solutions is entirely manufactured in our dedicated facilities in Orkoien, Spain. Additionally, we operate two lab testing facilities, one located in our Headquarters in Cincinnati, USA, and the other in Orkoien, Spain. This allows us to provide dedicated support to the nonwovens industry and ensure our clients receive the highest quality products and services.
