Kimberly-Clark  will increase prices in its baby and child care and consumer tissue businesses during the third quarter of 2008. The company said the increases are necessary to offset significant inflationary pressure from higher raw material and energy costs.

Net selling prices for Huggies diapers, Pull-Ups training pants, Cottonelle and Scott bathroom tissue, Viva towels and Kleenex facial tissue, will increase on average between 6-8% during the period between July 20 and August 31.
