Oerlikon Neumag has installed an M&J airlaid web forming
system for Polymer Group, Inc. and has helped enable the successful startup of the line. The airlaid system complements PGI’s proprietary Spinlace production technology and includes a complete airlaid system with web forming auxiliary equipment for raw material preparation, complete process air handling equipment and a complementary process control system. The web forming system was part of a project to retrofit and expand an existing nonwoven production line at a PGI’s facility in Benson, NC.
