Freudenberg Vliesstoffe has retrofitted one of its polypropylene homo-polymer spunlaid lines in Kaiserslautern plant to add bicomponent technology using Oerlikon Neumag technology. The line now features multipurpose capabilities and can product polypropylene and polyester with copolymer products for various product categories

Oerlikon Neumag is also installing a turnkey line for Freudenberg at its Suzhou, China plant. This complete carding line, including openers, cards, crosslappers and needlelooms, is scheduled to come onstream in July to serve industrial customers in the Far East.
