Japanese nonwovens producer Toyobo plans to increase its PET spunbond output by 2000 tons this year, bringing its total capacity of the material to 16,000 tons. The increase is a direct response to demand for automotive and building materials and could be followed by an additional new line in 2010, according to reports.
