Polymer Group Inc. will increase prices of its nonwoven roll goods in North America 5 -7%, depending on the specific products, to combate higher raw material and other manufacturing costs. The increases, effective Oct. 1, will apply primarily to products with petroleum-based raw materials, including polyester, polypropylene and polyethylene. Outside of North America, the company will raise the prices of its polypropylene-based products. The amount of the increase will vary according to region.
