Fehrer, Fincarde and M&J Become Neumag

Posted on June 24, 2006 @ 10:30 pm

Fehrer, Fincarde and M&J Fibretech--all part of the Neumag Saurer Nonwoven Business--have changed their company names to Neumag. In an effort to establish an integrated total solution provider in the nonwovens industry, Fehrer, Autefa, Fincarde and M&J Fibretech have been combined into one strong unit under the brand of Neumag. Fincarde has become Neumag Italy, M&J Fibretech, Neumag Denmark and Fehrer, Neumag Saurer Austria. Since Autefa is active in other business fields besides nonwovens, the Autefa company name remains unaltered.

According to the company, the brands Fehrer (needle looms and airlay), FOR/Fincarde (carding), Autefa (crosslapping) and M&J (airlaid) will be maintained as technology brands within the nonwoven product portfolio of Neumag. The individual company locations continue to represent their specific technologies and comprehensively pool their competences offering complete lines and solutions for nonwoven production.
