FiberMark Gessner, a  global supplier of automotive and vac bag filter media as well as a manufacturer of backing papers for coated abrasives and adhesive  tapes, has added a laminator to its technical capabilities. This laminator will not only increase its presence in the growing market for composite materials but will also expand FiberMark Gessner's technical possibilities.

This machine,  which can be upgraded for future purposes, is currently equipped with two different  laminating technologies: ultrasonic for multi-point  welding of (currently) up to four different layers and also  the possibility of a holoheral gluing of different layers using  hotmelts and reactive glues. FiberMark offers its customers the possibility of laminating their own products on the new machine.
