Hollingsworth & Vose Company has made its Apizaco, Mexico mill a wholly owned subsidiary by purchasing a remaining stake in the venture from Morod Santistaban. The joint venture, which produces filtration materials, was formed in 1981 under the Hovomex name. The transaction is part of H&V's multi-year capital campaign to strengthen service and supply capabilities to customers worldwide. This includes recent investments in the U.S., the UK and Germany as well as the establishment of a greenfield site in China.
