Kuraray Explores New Technology

Japanese roll goods producer Kuraray Kuraflex is initiating a pilot plant capable of making a new type of nonwoven. This material is made by twining fibers with stream spray through technology devloped jointly by Kuraray Kuraflex and MRE. Kuraray Kuraflex expects the new technology to comprise a significant portion of its business within the next several years.. The pilot operation is expected to be complete in March 2006.
