Kimberly-Clark has completed construction of its production facility in Beijing, China. The company expects the operation to not only satisfy increasing domestic demands but also be responsible for supplying personal care products for its global market, especially the U.S., Europe and Southeast Asian countries. Representing an investment of $90 million, the new facility represents Kimberly-Clark's most substantial program in China to date in terms of investment value. In addition to Beijing, K-C has also built plants in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Nanjing, China.
