Nihon Tokushu Toryo To Up Capacity

Plans for a capacity increase are underway at Nihon Tokushu Toryo, a Japanese producer of nonwoven automotive soundproofing materials. The company now produces enough materials for 240,000 cars on a monthly basis and plans to increase its capacity to produce enough materials for 360,000 cars per month. Nihon Tokushu Toryo produces the materials under a technology license from Swiss-based Rieter and manufactures the same materials in China through a joint venture with Rieter.
