In response to rapidly growing demand for feminine hygiene products in China, Daio Paper has established a joint venture with Sinar Mas Paper in the area of feminine hygiene products. The China-based venture is expected to produce 432 million pieces by the first half of 2006 and plans are reportedly underway to expand into the production of baby diapers in the near future.
