Posted on May 19, 2005 @ 11:15 am

TSI, a joint venture company of Toray Industries and Saehan Industries based in Seoul, Korea will begin Chinese production of polypropylene-based nonwovens in China next year. After launching a feasibility study examining China's potential last year, the company decided to construct a new plan that may produce SMS or SMMS there. TSI currently produces six lines in Korea. Five are based on polypropylene while the other is polyester-based.
