Advanced Fabrics (SAAF) has purchased a Reicofil 4 multibeam machine from Reifenhäuser. The new line will be installed in SAAF?s Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia plant when it comes onstream in 2006. The investment will increase SAAF?s capacity to 30,000 metric tons per year. According to Abdulmohsen Al-Otaman, CEO of SAAF?s parent group, the investment underlines the group?s commitment to expanding its success. It follows a recently announced startup of a medical product treatment facility at the same site.
