Amcor Flexible Packaging will present the AmPrima with Heat Resistance, a recyclable solution for packaging wet wipes and other products in the cleaning and convenience categories. This industry leading solution for recyclable flow wraps can provide heat resistance, clarity and stiffness compared to standard laminations currently sued for products like baby wipes, makeup removing towelettes, moist toilet tissues and hard disinfectant wipes that require extended shelf life. 

As part of the AmPrima PE Plus portfolio of recycle ready solutions that do not compromise performance, Amcor's latest solution for flow wrap applications is an important step forward and delivers significant value. It is the first laminate for the flow wrap wet wip market to be pre-qualified by How2Recycle in the U.S. and features a custom engineered sealant layer to improve hermeticity and prevent leakage and contamination even in the tallest jumbo packs.

According to an Asset assessment of the production and manufacture of an AmPrima PE Plus film versus incumbent PE/PET solutions, the AmPrima film, when recycled, delivers a 68% reduction in non-renewable energy use; a 50% reduction in a carbon footprint and a 40% reduction in consumption.
